Why I Love Hosting Candle Classes

Candle classes have become one of my favorite parts of what I do. There is something so special about gathering together, meeting new faces, hearing everyone’s stories, and watching each person create something with their own hands. Every class is filled with laughter, creativity, and the simple joy of a night out doing something different.

Most of my classes run about two hours long, and if I’m being completely honest — I am always so nervous at the beginning. Public speaking has never come naturally to me, and talking in front of a group of people I don’t know can make me shake. I worry that I’ll forget to mention something important or that I won’t explain the process well enough.

But every single time, God carries me through.

By the end of the night, the nerves fade and the room is filled with conversation, beautiful candles, and smiling faces. I leave each class praying that everyone had as much fun as I did, that they truly love the candle they made, and that their time and money felt well spent.

My heart behind these classes is so much more than just making candles. I want it to be a peaceful, welcoming space, a night to slow down, create something beautiful, and feel proud of what you made. Whether you come with friends or walk in knowing no one, my hope is that you leave encouraged, relaxed, and already wanting to come back again.
